Ready to Ride video from NYRF

Project summary

Engaging with young people is notoriously difficult and this includes aspiring motorcyclists!

National Young Rider Forum’s ‘Ready for the Road?’ is an informative and engaging film which details the steps that a young person needs to take if they are considering becoming a motorcyclist. It covers vital topics such as licensing, PPE, maintaining a motorcycle and riding safely in sections presented by young people themselves.

Ready for the Road? will fit into school, college and university timetables, or any other classroom opportunity, and can be delivered by road safety professionals, emergency service personnel or teaching staff.

It ends with links for further information for students to follow up after the presentation and gives each student the basic information needed to become a motorcyclist.
