The Road Safety Trust is a member of the following organisations – either to stay abreast of developments in the field of transport and road safety, or as a means to learn from best practice in governance and management.

Road Safety GB is a national road safety organisation made up of representatives from groups across the UK, including local government road safety teams.

Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) is a membership body for UK Foundations and grant-making charities.

National Council Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is a membership support body for approximately 14,000 voluntary sector organisations in the UK.

Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) supports leaders in civil society. Together with its network of 1200 leaders, they inspire and support civil society leaders by providing connections, advocacy and skills.

Association of Chairs (AoC) is a membership organisation supporting Chairs and Vice Chairs of charities and social enterprises in England and Wales. They help people to lead good governance and run an effective trustee board. Their resources and events are designed for those specifically in a chairing role.

The Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS) is a registered charity which supports the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Transport Safety. Its charitable objective is: ‘To protect human life through the promotion of transport safety for the public benefit’.

Its aim is to advise and inform members of the House of Commons and of the House of Lords on air, rail and road safety issues. It brings together safety professionals and legislators to identify research-based solutions to transport safety problems, taking into account cost, effectiveness, achievability and acceptability.
