Project summary

Motorcyclists are over-represented in crash statistics - an improvement in the hazard perception skills of riders could help reduce collisions.

However, traditional car-perspective hazard tests are unlikely to impact rider hazard perception skills as they do not reflect the typical hazards riders face on the roads. This project aims to produce a good quality, motorcycle specific hazard perception test tailored to the needs of riders.

Lynne Dickens
