Project summary

Foresight is a charity based in North East Lincolnshire that enhances lifestyles and improves overall quality of life for disabled people.

The Making Me Proficient at Walking and Cycling project has been informed through extensive consultation with the charity's beneficiaries, which highlighted that many local people with a disability have a lack of confidence and skills to cycle and walk safely to access services.

This project aims to improve the road safety confidence, skills and knowledge of the local disabled community, working in partnership with a group of peer beneficiaries and local road safety professionals to design and develop a walking and cycling proficiency training programme and personalised support to disabled participants.
