Funder statement on Covid

The Road Safety Trust recognises that the Covid-19 outbreak is an exceptional event that will have an impact on organisations and individuals all around the UK, including those we have awarded funding to and those who were hoping to submit applications.

For our existing and most recently approved grantees

We wish to be as helpful as possible during the coming weeks and months. We are here to support our existing grantees as much as we can through the inevitable impact on their projects. We understand that it might be difficult for you to progress your project in the current situation. We don’t want to add pressure, so if you think you will struggle to meet a reporting deadline or anything else, then please get in touch with your grants manager to discuss.

For prospective grant applicants and other stakeholders

We have had to suspend the Technology grant theme until further notice, and it is not yet clear whether we will be able to run the Small Grants Programme in the Autumn of 2020 as planned. Nobody knows how the Covid-19 situation is going to develop over the next 3-6 months, so we are keeping a watchful eye on developments and will let you and others know as soon as we can about re-opening the grants programme. For prospective applicant enquiries, please either email info@roadsafetytrust.org.uk or fill in an enquiry form via the Contact page of this website.

The Road Safety Trust team would like to wish all our stakeholders well through this unprecedented and difficult time for so many people. Please stay safe.

Kind Regards,
Sally Lines OBE MSc, Chief Executive

Addendum 12 August 2020: On 30 July 2020, Trustees took the decision to resume grant-giving activities at a cautious level for 2020-21 in the form of ‘Small Grants Plus’.

Lynne Dickens

Spot On Creative is a Northants-based creative team who have the hard-earned skills, expertise and industry knowledge that only come from having worked for years in advertising. It’s all managed by Lynne Dickens who has over 20 years’ experience in marketing communications, and ten years in website design and build, and creative team project management.

Lynne is also a qualified art historian and has some expertise in curating fine art exhibitions and producing all of the catalogues, posters and supporting material to create a successful event.

All the guys in our team have worked for one-man bands, SMEs and large blue-chip multinationals in just about every sector, field and industry. We can come up with great ideas, superb design and copy, and exceptional photography for anything from websites to email campaigns, branding to brochures – and everything in between.

And the beauty of Spot On Creative is that we’re big in creativity, experience and knowledge, but small in overheads and invoices. So we’re a much more sensible and affordable option for you than a larger advertising agency or marketing company.
