The Road Safety Trust Announces Appointment of Four New Trustees
The Road Safety Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of four new Trustees.
The Trust invited fellow road safety professionals to join the Board in the Summer and we were thrilled with the number and calibre of applicants who expressed an interest in joining us.
A rigorous and competitive recruitment process followed, and the successful candidates were formally appointed at a full meeting of the Board on Thursday 13 November.
The new Trustees are:
Chris Spinks – Audit & Risk Committee (Chair)
Dr Neale Kinnear – Road Safety & Initiatives Committee
Vicky Folland – Road Safety & Initiatives Committee
Kate Honey – Communications & Engagement Committee
These appointments will strengthen the Trust’s governance and each of our new Trustees brings a wealth of experience and expertise to help deliver our mission to make UK roads safer for all.
Tony Fuller, Chair of the Board, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Vicky, Kate, Neale and Chris to the Board. Each brings unique experience and insight that will help us drive forward our strategic priorities and ensure robust oversight.
“On behalf of the Board I warmly welcome them all to the Trust."
Ruth Purdie OBE, Chief Executive of The Road Safety Trust, added: “The recruitment process was highly competitive, and we are delighted with the calibre of Trustees joining us.
“Their knowledge and commitment will help us amplify our impact and work collaboratively with our partners to improve road safety across the UK."
