Project description

The aim of the project is to evaluate the effectiveness of existing vehicle brake light designs and identify factors that promote faster perception of the braking event such as size, shape, orientation, brightness and modulation. The project involves laboratory and on road trials using EEG (to measure brain activity) to test responses to different brake light designs, development of improved brake light designs based on the results of these trials.
