UKROEd
The Road Safety Trust owns a wholly-owned trading subsidiary, UKROEd. This is a not-for-profit company that carries out the management and administration of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of the Police.
When someone goes on a driver awareness course, a small part of their fee comes to UKROEd to help cover the costs of operating the Scheme.
Any surplus from UKROEd’s activity is donated to The Road Safety Trust at the end of the financial year to award in grants.
As well as providing the grant funding, UKROEd’s education of road offenders also helps the charity meets its objectives and serves as primary purpose trading.

Police
The members of The Road Safety Trust charity are the Police. As part of the charity’s governance structure, the Chief Officer who is the National Lead for Roads Policing (NPCC) must be the Police Force Trustee. The Police is therefore a key stakeholder and partner to the charity’s activities.
APCC
The partnership with the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) is an important one and is reflected through a Trustee place on the Board for a representative of the APCC.
Road Safety Funders Forum
The Road Safety Trust is a lead member of a Road Safety Funders Forum, which meets every six months to share good practice and information.
